POW 1 Week in Review

The cabi Fall 2015 Media Jacket was our first POW piece! In two weeks, we covered a full week of outfits from super casual to special occasion that you can style this jacket, or one like it, in. Here is a quick overview of the seven outfits. It's great to see a few other articles of clothing were repeated, showing the versatility of key wardrobe articles like a nice blouse and nice casual pants. 

In order from Monday to Sunday, here are the seven looks!

Manic Media Monday:  Dress down pieces by combining them with casual pieces for an overall business casual look. 

Outfit: Fall 2015 cabi Media Jacket, Amour Blouse, and Track Pant. Stella & Dot Kahlo Linear earrings and an old, beloved pair of A2s from Aerosoles. See post for more information.

No place like Tuesday in a Jacket:  Integrate dressy jackets into your casual style, by keeping the other elements casual.

Outfit: Fall 2015 cabi Media Jacket, Horizontal Tank, and the Dark Destruction Slim Boyfriend Jeans. Booties and earrings are old an no longer available. Details and more in the post.

Working It Media Style Wednesday: Outfit Mission Statement: For professional outfits, limit your bold and striking pieces to two and keep accessories neutral and minimal.  

Outfit: Fall 2015 cabi Media Jacket, Amour Blouse, and Overlay Pencil Skirt. Target shoes (not available) and old hoops for earrings. Check out the post for more info.

Trendy, Transitional, and/or Terrific Thursday: Consider mixing versatile, life-style friendly pieces with a nice jacket for a fun outfit that can work for you.

Outfit: Fall 2015 cabi Media Jacket, Layering Tee, and M'leggings.  Boots: Arwan Fashion Boots. Earrings: Vintage Crystal Studs by Stella & Dot. Necklace: Casablanca Necklace by Stella & Dot.

Tonal Friday Night Drinks: Mix casual pants with dressier tops in the same tone for a put-together and fun date night outfit.

Outfit: Fall 2015 cabi Media Jacket, vintage cabi sleeves black blouse, and Celadon Cargos. old slouch boots. The necklace is the Beaded Amazonite Necklace by Solid Treasures.

 Play Day at the Track Saturday: Reach for your comfort classics in clean crisp colors and add a nice jacket for a comfortable, classy look.

Outfit: Fall 2015 cabi Media Jacket, Swing Tee, and  Tee, and Track Pant. Earrings are an old, beloved pair of A2s from Aerosoles. LIkewise, the earrings are older Stella & Dot

Put a Cape on your Sunday Best: Add a cape, shawl, or other special piece to increase the formality of your outfit and add layering options.

Outfit: Fall 2015 cabi Media Jacket, Claire Dress, and Gigi Cape. Shoes are from Target last year. Earrings are older and from  Charming Charlie.
